Since its establishment, Marport has diligently maintained environmentally friendly activities and sustainable growth. In line with these efforts, ISO 14064-1 Greenhouse Gas Management System was established under the leadership of the Health-Safety-Environment department of the Port and Terminal Operators Group, as first port facility in Turkey, and one of the few in Europe, to do so. The "Greenhouse Gas Inventory Report 2013", which is generated by creating greenhouse gas inventory and calculating related emissions, was approved by the independent certification body RINA, granting us the "Verification Statement Nº.VEB-0055".
